About Us

Edwin V. Glaser Rare Books was established in New York City in 1969 as a general antiquarian book shop and began specializing in medicine, science, and technology in the mid 1970s. We relocated to Northern California in 1979 and are currently located in the lovely Carneros area at the southern end of the Napa Valley, well-known as one of the great wine-growing regions of the world. We do not have an open shop but are always happy to see customers and friends by appointment. Please phone ahead for directions.
